FIRST AID COURSE CONTENT

First Aid Level I
1-Day course with a next day practical (± 1 hour) and theoretical evaluation
This course is structured for the work environment when you need basic first aiders for health and safety purposes

Principles of first aid and safety; Examination of the patient; Shock; CPR; Airway obstruction; Soft tissue injuries;Wounds and Bleeding; Burns; Musculo-skeletal system; Head injuries and unconsciousness; Poisoning

First Aid Level II (Valid Level I required)
2-Day course with a next day practical (± 2 hours) and theoretical evaluation
This course is structured for companies that require intermediate first aiders due to the risk involved

The same content as for Level I. The content of the chapters are more advanced. New chapters of Environmental injuries; Hand and Eye Injuries; Pelvic and Abdominal injuries; Chest injuries; Epilepsy; Joint injuries and Rescue carries; Elementary Anatomy and Physiology; are added.

First Aid Level III (Valid Level II required)
3-Day course with a next day practical (± 2 hours) and theoretical evaluation
This course is structured for schools with first aid teams and companies that need advanced first aiders because the risk involved is extensive

The same content as for Level I & II. The content of the chapters are more advanced and discussed in depth. New chapters of Emergency childbirth; Behavioural emergencies; Anatomy and Physiology; Water accidents; Emergency care ethics; are added.

Basic Sports Injuries (Level I preferred)
1-Day course with a practical evaluation
This course is designed for sport team managers and coaches that need a basic understanding of injuries that players can sustain

Principles of first aid and safety; Anatomy and Physiology; Examination of the patient; Soft tissue injuries; Bleeding and wounds ; Breathlessness; Musculo-Skeletal System; Head injuries and Unconsciousness; Environmental Illnesses and Injuries; Water Accidents; Cool Down or Heat Up; Strapping techniques

Basic Life Support
5 Hour course
This course is structured for anyone that is interested to learn CPR and Choking treatment without doing a complete first aid course.

First aid principles and safety; Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for infants, children and adults; Airway Obstruction for infant, children and adults.


FIRE FIGHTING TRAINING

Basic Fire Fighting
5 Hour course with practical demonstration and use of a fire extinguisher.
This course is structured for companies that need fire marshals for health and safety purposes

Procedures to follow in case of fire; The fire triangle; Common fuels; Extinguishing a fire; How fires start; Classes of fire; Types of fire extinguishers; Operating differences; Which extinguisher to use; Location of equipment; Symbolic signs; Care and maintenance of equipment; Compiling inspection checklists; Daily observation on equipment; Operating the equipment; Pre-planning; Practical fire fighting.

Health and Safety Representative
1-Day course
This course is structured for companies that need to comply with health and safety regulations

Act and Regulations; General duties of employers towards workers; General duties regarding the use of articles and substances at work; General duties of the worker; Rights of the worker; Inspection of the workplace; Identification of hazards; Health and safety representatives; Health and safety committees; Report to the chief inspector; Cooperation with the inspector; Prosecutions; Contractors Responsibilities.

Lifting Driven Machinery Training
This course is structured for operators of the relevant lifting machine/equipment such as Operate Lift Trucks, Operate Cranes & Operate Bulk Trucks in the working or operating environment.
