Accredited Training
Fire-Quip provides a unique and cost effective training service to clients. Through our training company Fire & Safety Training Academy we can comply with all your Fire, First Aid, Technical and Safety training needs. Our Training is MERSETA Accredited.
Through our incorporated companies, we are accredited with the MQA and also comply with ISO standards. We can supply you with the following accredited training:
- First Aid Level 1,2 & 3 Training
- Basic Fire Fighting Training
- Health and Safety Representative Training
- Driven Machinery Training
All servicing is done on site by our trained technicians with fully equipped mobile workshops under the SANS Diamond Mark 4283/6140 for both servicing & selling of Fire Equipment. Currently Fire-Quip has 21 Service Vehicles. in the field to provide on-site servicing, including Pressure testing of low pressure vessels. These facilities enable us to do on site servicing without removing any Fire Extinguishers from your property, thereby reducing the risk of fires not being controlled due to the fact that the Fire Protection equipment has been removed.
Fire-Quip is SAQCC Detection and Gas registered and FDIA approved we are capable of performing the following functions and services:
- Smoke detection systems
- Design of smoke detection systems, supply and installation of detection systems, modifications to detection systems, service and regular maintenance to any smoke detection system as per regulation SANS 10139 and SANS 10400 T
- Smoke detection system for Hospitals SANS 322
- Design, supply, and install modifications, service, and maintenance as per SANS 322
- Public Address and Evacuation systems
- Design, supply, and install, modifications to excising systems and service and maintenance as per SANS 7240 parts 16 & 19
- Gas suppression systems
- Design of the electronic detection systems, supply and installation, modifications, and service and maintenance as per SANS14520, 369 1&2, 306-4, 246.
- Fire Quip can install all leading brands of detection and suppression system equipment sold in South Africa.
For example Bosch, Ziton, Advance, Aritech, Technoswitch, Xstralis Vesda, Apollo, The Fire Beam, Titunus, Hygood, Kidde, Pyroshield, Stat-X and many more.
